As December 31, 2015 quickly approaches, you may still be considering where to give an end of the year donation. Well, if the Lord leads you, LeTourneau has some wonderful opportunities to invest in.

For several years, we have been opening camp up for one weekend a year to inner city and underprivileged children. This is a free event for all participants. They enjoy all the beauty and fun LeTCC can offer, as well as an opportunity to meet Christ and have their lives changed forever. This year, we desire to have more kids at camp than ever before, so we have started a Youth Outreach Fund. Our goal is to raise $10,000. So far, we have raised nearly $4,000! Just $100 will pay for one teenager to spend a weekend at LeTCC. This is a great cause to be a part of —there’s nothing better than seeing lives saved!

Some of you are avid supporters of camp and we know you would love to see some updates completed on the property. We have several large projects, which need attention, such as the following: multiple roofs ($10,000), the dining hall carpet ($20,000), decorating and painting existing rooms in the Lodge and Bethany House ($2,500), and a new fire alarm system ($10,000).

With a desire to grow this ministry comes the need for more staff housing. We currently do not have adequate housing for some staff and it will be difficult to add new staff without renovating existing structures or building new ones. This financial need could surpass the $100,000. mark.

As you can see, this ministry has some great financial needs. We know the Lord always provides for His work to be completed and we are confident in His provision. If you feel, the Lord would like you to be a part of this work, please send your end of the year gift to our office at 4950 County Road 11, Rushville, NY 14544. If your check is dated to December 31st or earlier, we will be sure to send you an official financial statement for your 2015 records.

Thank you for considering this ministry’s needs as you prepare to make your end of the year gift.

May you and your loved ones be blessed this Christmas season and into the New Year!
