Blessed Hope: LeTourneau’s Ladies’ Ministry
Each person who attends a Blessed Hope event has opportunities to meet new friends, renew former friendships, hear great keynote speakers and music, enjoy seminar presentations, taste delicious food, learn from the Bible ways to deal with important life issues, to share, laugh, try something new, pray specifically, and especially to grow closer to Christ. During our annual retreats and monthly luncheons, women have been blessed in many special ways and God has provided in awesome ways!
Every year at the Blessed Hope Retreat we ask that each woman who attends complete a survey to help us in planning the following year. We read EVERY survey and we have appreciated the compliments and notes of praise, the new ideas, and the specific input we receive. Your input is so important to LeTourneau’s Blessed Hope Planning Team members as we pray and plan for future events! Here is a dedicated page where you can see the latest Blessed Hope news and activities. **There will be Interupreters for those hearing impaired available. Make sure that you call ahead to let LeTourneau know you will be attending so we can make sure you have this service available to you. 585-554-3400.
History – How did Blessed Hope Ministries begin?
In the spring of 2001, a group of area women were invited to meet to discuss ways in which LeTourneau Christian Center might best be used to address various issues women face in today’s society. It was determined that women would enjoy time for relaxing, learning, sharing, and growing. It became evident that the women wanted to “retreat” and address some of the issues in a setting that was comfortable and relaxing. Next, a smaller planning team began meeting and praying about all of the above and Blessed Hope Women’s Spring Retreat was “born” in June 2002! In 2008, Blessed Hope Ministries officially became “LeTourneau’s outreach to women.” In 2009 we evolved into more of a “program planning team” for LeTourneau. Now we sponsor and help plan various programs at LeTourneau, so look at our online calendar for future events and join us as Christ is honored in all we do!
- We believe that the Bible is the only true word of God.
- We believe that there in only One God, existing in three persons, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus, The Son of God, became the sacrificial offering for our sins, and it is only through Him that we obtain salvation.
