Janice w pitcher & dessertsAre you willing to give a portion of your time and talents volunteering at LeTourneau? We eagerly welcome volunteers who are interested in serving in the spirit of Christ. To volunteer for any of the roles below, please contact our office, by calling (585) 554-3400 or filling out the volunteer form.

Specialty Summer Roles:

LeTourneau “Lawn Corps”

Those willing to assist with mowing, gardening and landscaping.

Handymen Helpers

General maintenance including janitorial, light carpentry, painting, electric, plumbing, and moving of furniture, or materials.

Boat Drivers

Need 2-3 conscientious adults, with Public Vessel Operator (PVO) license (or willing to take the test), able to supervise passengers, water-skiers, etc. and maintain safety on the water. (Primarily, afternoon hours, Mon. – Sat.).

Boat Shore Overseers

BoatOverseerSMConscientious, attentive adults to monitor the boat shore where youth sign in and out for kayaks and canoes. Primarily, weekday afternoons throughout the summer. Red Cross certification a plus.

On-Site Nurses

Licensed LPNs/R.N.’s with up-to-date CPR/Red Cross certification.  Serve as Camp nurse on select dates throughout the summer. Room and board provided during service.

Ongoing Roles (Primarily weekends, year-round)

Dining Hall Wait Staff

wait staff volunteerHelp prepare, serve and clean before, during and after mealtimes for our guests.  If you can set a table/place setting and pour coffee, you are qualified. 🙂 

Kitchen Support

Zion12AdultOvenWEBHelp our chef and assistants behind-the-scenes in the kitchen, preparing foods to serve, or washing dishes and/or pots and pans. Must be able to lift and carry at least 30 pounds. 

Housekeeping Support

Help our housekeeping staff quickly turn over the Lodge, Bethany House and private-family cabins after one group departs and before another arrives. Support service includes changing bed linens, washing laundry, cleaning restrooms, restaging guest rooms, and cleaning floors.  

General Office/Receptionist Support

Help give our full-time staff assistance in the office answering the phones, responding to guest inquiries, processing mail, event registrations and other general office support, as instructed. From fall – spring, office help is always needed on Mondays when the full-time staff takes a day off. Throughout the summer, extra assistance is needed as requested, especially for support during times with high guest attendance. Initial training will precede regular scheduling of volunteers in this role.
