In 2007, 11 new Bungalows were added to the mix of accommodations to bring an added level of coziness and comfort to LeTourneau. A little larger than the original wood summer cabins, these new dwellings come fully insulated with electric heat, vinyl floors, large thermal windows with screens, and have higher-end mattresses and furnishings.
Sleeping 6 people in 3 bunks, the bungalows are decorated inside, and feature lockable doors and front porches running the full width of each dwelling. Guests should bring their own sleeping bag or bedroll, linens and towels. The bungalows are serviced by central washrooms/showers a short walk down the hill, and are suitable for any youth or adult groups or families, approximately nine months of the year.
Summer Cabins & Barracks
Our rustic, summer cabins were some of the first buildings erected in the late 1930’s when LeTourneau first opened and provide simple electric plugs, lights and 3 bunk beds each for a maximum of 6 campers. Guests should bring their own sleeping bag or bedroll, linens and towels. The original number of cabins was reduced in 2007 to make room for the heated Bungalows that now line the southern side of the hill, nearest the Tabernacle. The present row of summer cabins is located across the upper flat of the property, while the larger barracks are adjacent in the north corner.
Our multi-room, large group Barracks can sleep up to 20 campers and are well-suited to groups of youth, teens and counselors. Each barrack boasts smaller rooms with 2 bunk beds each at front and back, with a central room holding 6 bunk beds in-between. All our cabins and barracks are serviced by central shower/washroom facilities a short walk down the hill. These simple cabins serve as our most economic housing option.
Any special arrangements that might be required by your group may be discussed in advance during booking arrangements for possible approval. Our aim is to make your stay a memorable one.
