LeTourneau Christian Center

LeTourneau caters to a wide variety of church and ministry groups. The larger groups may occupy all, or the majority, of our accommodations, while smaller groups may occupy only a limited number of buildings. This allows LeTourneau to sometimes host multiple groups at the same time. We strongly suggest planning your function well in advance so you are more likely to secure the accommodations of your choice. We provide a variety of accommodations depending on the purpose of your function.

Year-round accommodations include:

The Lodge - Bethany House and Lakeside Cottage, each located on the Lake side of the property overlooking the waterfront. Also, in 2007 we added 11 New Lakeview Bungalows located on the hillside of the property. These Bungalows sleep 6 people each and are fully insulated and suitable for occupancy about 9 months of the year.

For summer and non-winterized housing, we have 10 Cabins which can sleep up to 6 people each, 2 Larger Barracks which can sleep up to 20 people each and Hilltop Cottage that can sleep a maximum of 8.

When additional space is needed for a group we also have specially priced arrangements with local motels to cover over-flow guests. (Motels are 10 minutes up the road.) During the summer season we can also provide an area where tents may be errected and a limited number of spots for camper trailers are available.

NOTE: Lakeside and Hilltop Cottages are completely self-contained dwellings which include a full kitchen. These facilities are ideal for housing your Guest Speakers, Leadership Team, Pastoral use, or Family Retreats.

Any special arrangements that might be required by your group may be discussed in advance with the Booking Department for possible approval. Our aim is to make your stay a memorable one.

The Strathearn Memorial Lodge The Lodge is a two story residence, overlooking beautiful Canandaigua Lake, built in the 1950's and houses 22 private guestrooms. Rooms are comprised of various combinations of double and single beds. The first floor houses 8 guestrooms plus a seperate common area & sitting room suitable for small group meetings or cozy relaxation. The second floor has 14 guestrooms with similar combinations of beds. There are also segregated washroom/shower rooms for the men and the women at the end of each hallway. A quaint and cozy lodge suitable for most ministry events.
Bethany House Bethany House is a stand alone winterized cottage overlooking Canandaigua Lake. It houses 8 private guestrooms each with various combinations of double beds, single beds or bunk beds. Bethany House also contains a cozy common area suitable for small meetings of up to 18 people or for simply relaxing. The porch provides a beautiful view of the lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets most of the year. This building is quite suitable for Church Boards, Married Couples or appropriately gender matched smaller groups who wish to remain closer together for short stays.
Lakeside Cottage Lakeside is a quaint little self-contained cottage which houses 2 bedrooms, private bath, a living/sitting room and eat-in kitchenette. The 2 bedrooms provide a double bed and 2 bunk beds respectively. It also has a queen sized futon in the living room that can be opened to a bed. This little cottage provides a small fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals and it also has a fully screened in porch. Perfect for housing your Event Speaker or Pastoral Leadership. It is also quite suitable for a family get-a-way. Lakeside is fully winterized and sleeps up to a maximum of 6 people.
New Lakeview Bungalows The 11 new Lakeview Bungalows were added to the mix of accommodations in 2007 and bring an added level of coziness and comfort to LeTourneau. A little larger than the original cabins, these new dwellings come fully insulated with electric heat, vinyl floors, are beautifully finished inside and have higher end beds and mattresses. They are almost like being in your own bedroom at home. They sleep 6 people in 3 bunk style beds; have large thermal windows with screens, full width porches and security lockable doors. These new accommodations are very suitable for any youth group, men’s group and even many of the ladies groups love them. They are also serviced by his/hers central washrooms/showers located very close by.
The Cabins Our cabins were some of the first buildings erected in the late 1930's and are typical of small camping cabins. These rustic cabins provide 3 bunk beds each for a miximum of 6 campers. No linens or bedding is provided so a sleeping bag or suitable bed-role will be required. The original number of cabins was reduced in 2007 to make room for the new Lakeview Bungalows that now cover the South edge of the grassy knoll. The present row of cabins is located across the upper flat of the property. They supply sleeping quarters only and are serviced by central shower/washroom facilities located close to the cabin area. Each cabin provides room for 6 people and their belongings. A very economical retreat.
