1. What exactly is LeTourneau?
LeTourneau Christian Center is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Christian Ministry/Conference Facility founded in 1934 and since its inception has focused on furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the years it has continued to provide a place for Christian Churches and their auxiliaries to get away from their normal environment to enjoy church conferences, meetings, family camps, special programs, as well as dinner concerts, retreats, training programs, etc., all focused on furthering the gospel.
2. Where is LeTourneau?
LeTourneau Christian Center is located directly on the East shore of picturesque Canandaigua Lake in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Central New York State. We are only 10 minutes (8 miles) South of the City of Canandaigua and about 1 hour south of downtown Rochester. You will enjoy a relaxing drive through rolling hills and quaint little towns as you arrive at this little part of heaven. 3. What does LeTourneau offer? LeTourneau provides a relaxing get-a-way atmosphere that remains close to nature and yet is only minutes from major shopping. Letourneau has everything you would need for your church meetings, conferences, programs, etc. We offer winterized Lodge type accomodations along with rustic camping cabins during the summer months. Our modern kitchen and dining hall seats 300+ for most any function. We are also located directly on the shores of beautiful Canandaigua Lake so swimming, boating, and all sorts of seasonal waterfront activities are readily available. We also provide a well equiped Rec Hall and outdoor activities for both summer and winter.
4. Why would I consider LeTourneau for my Church Event?
It would be very difficult to find a location more beautiful than LeTourneau Christian Center on Canandaigua Lake. Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of New York, the rolling hills and picturesque scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. We have also worked hard to provide clean, wholesome facilities that are very budget conscious yet provide all the necessities to have a totally enjoyable get-a-way for your ministry event. We cater only to Christian churches/ministries and the atmosphere for spiritual renewal is second to non. It truly is a place where "Heaven and Earth" meet.
5. Is LeTourneau open to the general public? LeTourneau is a ministry and is dedicated to serving Christian Churches, Christian Organizations and their auxiliaries. It also allows, whenever available, to be used by individual Christian families for a few days as a quiet spiritual retreat. LeTourneau is ideal for Pastors or other church leaders to find a place of quiet time for prayer and introspection. We are not open to the general secular public.
